STORYTELLING
Over the past three years, RE.CO founder Rodrigo Rodarte has worked with Studio-MLA as Consulting Director of Programming and Partnerships, helping program and foster partnerships within the firm's multi-use studio space supporting the firm’s work on the Puente Hills Regional Park project, Youth at Work program, and Test Plot.
Working closely with Studio-MLA founder Mia Lehrer, Rodrigo used his experience in public space programming to help the firm cultivate new and existing relationships with community-focused organizations, artists, student groups, local government departments, elected officials, among others.
Rodrigo also provided guidance on events and enrichment to highlight the studio’s ethos and culture. Through collaboration and explorations with the firm’s talented design and marketing staff, Rodrigo introduced ideas for impactful programming to the space, highlighting Studio-MLA's focus on community engagement, cultural connections, and environmental stewardship.
Rodrigo continues to consult with and draw inspiration from Studio-MLA as his experiment with RE.CO grows.
